4 Tips to Keep in Mind When Using Google Play Store

Google Play Store is full of hidden tips and tricks, and we are here to help you discover them. They will make your life easier. Here are the best 4 tips to keep in your mind at all times.

The indie corner is available for everyone

We believe that indie games are one of a kind, and everyone should play them at least once. The Play Store is full of indie games and apps, and they are surely different than what we’re used to. Most of them have different (but good different) designs, elements and they are fun. Some of the most played games out there come from indie developers.  Old Man’s Journey and Alto’s Odyssey were praised by critics and have managed to win fans all over the world. But it’s not always easy to find indie apps on the Google Play Store. For those of you who don’t know, there’s an Indie corner where you can find everything you want.

Get apps that are not available in your country

Sometimes you might get curious, and you might want to find out what other apps have to offer. The thing is that you cannot install some apps due to the fact that they are not available in your country. But we are here to tell you that you can, in fact, download them. And there are two ways to do so.

  1. You can download the APK file
  2. You can install the Market Helper app – this one is only available for rooted devices, and you need to make sure you’re getting it from a safe source.

You can install a non-compatible app with the Market Helper app, but there’s a catch. You cannot guarantee that it will work properly.

You can uninstall multiple apps at once

Android doesn’t really have a batch uninstall option for apps, but we come with a solution. Google Play has a hidden Manage apps feature.  With its help, you can sort all of your installed apps based on their size and on how much time you spent on them.

You can select multiple apps at once and then press on Uninstall in order to remove them. They will be instantly removed from your device. Go to the Play Store, then to My apps and games. Then, go to Installed, to Storage.

You can install apps directly from your PC

The Android App of the Play Store can lag from time to time. It’s a good thing that you can install apps right from your PC. All you need to do is open the Play Store web page and log in with the same Google account as the one on your device. Then, look for an app and click on the Install button. You will get a confirm installation of your device. You will get this message: “App will be installed on your device soon. “ The App should start downloading on your device automatically.
