The File Explorer has been used on Windows for a while now. Although Microsoft intends to change it, the company did not make any official comments on when it plans to release the new File Explorer.
The Universal Windows Platform (UWP) is developed by Microsoft with the purpose of bringing all their apps on a single platform and be used on all Microsoft devices. If the app functions on Windows 10, it is also compatible with Windows 10 Mobile, Xbox, Surface devices, HoloLens, and more such devices.
How to Find the New File Explorer
When it comes to the new File Explorer, its looks are more attractive, and it seems unique in comparison to the old UIs it previously had. A few of the platform’s features include drop and drag files, simple right-click menu for improved functionality, attractive buttons, and more.
All these buttons are designed separately in order to identify the folders and files that perform tasks such as copy, cut, paste, and creating folders.
Because the File Explorer is still under works, the options in the toolbar are not given a name yet. Due to this fact, there can be the case of some bugs when using the new platform. To access the File Explorer from Windows 10, we have some easy steps that will help you.
