Apple released the much-awaited iPhone SE 2020 in April. The smartphone flaunts a similar iPhone 8 design, an upgraded Bionic A13 processor, and wireless charging support. But as fantastic as it can be, iPhone SE 2020 will be soon out shadowed by another Apple installment, the iPhone 12 models.
The rumors mills and reports have already emerged online, creating quite a buzz. The latest speculation is also the most daring one, hinting at some essential possible specs and pricing. The most recent speculations about the iPhone 12 series are released by Jon Prosser, a popular Apple tipster.
According to Prosser’s sources, Apple plans to release four upcoming iPhone this time around. The anticipated iPhone 12 variants could be the iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Plus/Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
We should expect four iPhone 12 models
The iPhone 12 models variants are expected to be kitted with an OLED screen and a little bit smaller notch, compared to the actual iPhone 11 series. Prosser also detailed that the alleged iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Max might arrive with an aluminum chassis. For the Pro variants, Apple could choose a stainless steel frame.
The iPhone 12 series is expected to house a powerful Apple A14 Bionic processor paired with a 5G support. The Pro variants might arrive with a mmWave network, as well. As for the camera modules, the first two variants are speculated to sport a dual-camera module, while the Pro models, a triple rear camera along with the LiDAR scanner.
According to Prosser’s report, the iPhone 12 Mini has a code name D52G and a 5.4-inch display. The device might arrive with a price label of $649. The iPhone 12 Plus/Max has a code name D53G, sports a 6.1-inch display, and is listed for sale at $749. Ultimately, the iPhone 12 Pro series is speculated to flaunt a 6.1-inch and a 6.7-inch display. They could be released with a price point of $999 and $1,099.
So far, Apple decided to keep its silence on any information about the release date of the smartphone series. But, we can expect the iPhone 12 models somewhere between October and November.
