If you’re into action-adventure stealth titles like Assassin’s Creed, then you must know that there’s a brand new game of the legendary series awaited to arrive in 2020 for the usual platforms (PC, Xbox One, and PS4), but also for the next-generation consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X.
The big news comes from YouTuber and streamer Jonathan (https://twitter.com/xj0nathan), who reveals to us some exciting details about the new entry in the popular Assassin’s Creed series. Therefore, we should trust the guy when he’s bringing details like release window, setting, reveal, and more. Let’s see what those details are:
The official reveal on April or early May
Since April is almost over, we can bet on the first week of May as the time for when Ubisoft will present the next Assassin’s Creed title. Unfortunately, we don’t have any data about a possible name, but we can be sure that the game won’t have ‘Ragnarok’ or ‘Kingdom’ within the title as previous rumors had been claiming. Also, the ‘playground’ will be the land of the Vikings.
The forgotten feature is coming back
As it was possible for players of Assassin’s Creed in the past, the 2020 game will bring back the possibility of choosing between a male or female for the protagonist character. Also, we can expect plenty of supernatural content to arrive for the series’ return, and most of that content will be linked to the First Civilization.
The last installment of the Assassin’s Creed RPG series is Odyssey, a game developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft in 2018. As a part of its official description says:
“This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of Alexios or Kassandra, mercenaries on a quest for vengeance. As players explore an open-world environment in Ancient Greece, they interact with characters, infiltrate enemy bases and strongholds, and kill human enemies. Players use swords, spears, and bows to kill enemy soldiers and bandits in melee-style combat. Players also use stealth attacks (e.g., knife stabbing) to dispatch enemies discreetly. Large blood-splatter effects occur as enemies are killed. “
We are eagerly waiting for the 2020 game of the Assassin’s Creed series to arrive, as we can be sure that it cannot be a major disappointment.
