How to share a TikTok video
Some users allow others to share their videos. In order to do so, find and watch the video you want to share. Then, tap the Share button that’s placed on the right. Then choose the platform where you want to share it.
How to save a TikTok video
Some users allow others to save their videos if they want to watch it offline. In order to do so, find and watch the video you want to save. Then, tap the Share button that’s placed on the right. Then press on the Save button. There is also an easier way to do it: long-press on a video and then select to save it.
It’s worth mentioning that you can find all of your favorite videos if you go to the Me screen, then tap on the Bookmark.
How to create a GIF
You need to find and watch the video you want to save. Then, tap the Share button that’s placed on the right. Then, tap on Share as a Gift, and choose where you want to share it – or simply save it to your device. It’s worth mentioning that you can also convert a TikTok video into a GIF. It will have a watermark.
How to create a live photo
You need to find and watch the video you want to save. Then, tap the Share button that’s placed on the right. Then, tap on Live Photo.
How to add hashtags
On the Post screen, you have the description of the video. Tap the Hashtag button and insert the tags you want.
How to tag users in your video
On the Post screen, you have the description of the video. Tap the @friends button, then add the users you want to tag.
How to turn off comments
Did you know that you can disable comments on your videos? All you need to do is tap on Comments Off.
How to turn off the Duet or React option
You need to go to the Post screen and disable these options. Tap on Duet/React Off, and you’re good to go.
How to turn off downloads for your videos
You can allow others to download your videos, or you can turn off this feature. If you do so, users will not be able to see your videos offline.
From the menu bar, go to the Me screen, then top on the More button, placed in the corner. From there, go to Privacy and Safety, and then scroll to Allow the download and disable it.
How to change the privacy of your video
You need to go to the Post screen. From there, tap “Who can view this video.” These are the options you get: Public (the video is visible to everyone), Friends (the video is visible only to friends), and Private (the video is visible only to you).
How to save a video to drafts
You need to go to the Post screen. From there, tap on Drafts, that’s placed at the bottom. This will save your video, and you will then be able to check it later.
In order to find your videos in drafts, you need to go to Me from the menu bar and, on your profile, get to the Drafts folder.
