The most fantastic addition to the Call of Duty family is the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot, with Ground War. The multiplayer mode comes with up to 100 players, playing against each other on battlefields with a lot of engagement areas and vehicles. It’s quite the change from most of the Call of Duty modes – there are also smaller maps. Ground War is way different than what you used to play. It might be confusing for you if you’re playing for the very first time.

We are here to tell you what are the main differences between Ground War and Modern Warfare’s multiplayer modes. This should help you better understand the game.

When it comes to attack and defense

The main goal of the game is to get in control of numerous points from around the map. It’sIt’s not that different, but it’s straightforward: the team which controls the zone for the longest time wins. The control points from Ground War change constantly, and you don’t need to only think about attacking them, but also about defending them.

When it comes to space

The large maps from Ground War are convenient for a lot of players, and their layouts come with many options when you want to attack enemies. There are flashpoints in the capture zones in each and every map. You can also hide in buildings and find new ways to approach your enemies. Players tend to just gather in one location, but you need to find a way to ambush them. Also, don’t forget to take care of yourself.

When it comes to strategy

Maps from the Ground War are not big just horizontally. They are also tall. Skyscrapers, buildings, pretty much any great location that can give you a view on the most of the map. If you think you can climb up to a place, do it. This way, you’ll get a better view of the map. There are many players that move around, so it’s best to see where they’re going at all times, so you can build your strategy.
