Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare has been a long awaited game, and it has just been launched today, October 25, for Windows, PS4, and Xbox One. The lucky fellows to first test it are the ones from North America. Unfortunately, some of them had a nasty surprise.
Owners of Xbox One X had the terrible experience of getting their consoles crashed once they tried to play the new Call Of Duty. Some of them couldn’t even login to their accounts.
Countless reports on a Reddit thread
A Reddit thread on the Modern Warfare subreddit with over sixteen thousand votes includes countless mad users who are reporting the crashing of their consoles during the gameplay.
It looks like Infinity Ward, the American company developing the Call Of Duty game, is searching for solutions of the nasty issue, and it’s already working on a fix. They recently said on Twitter:
“We are seeing a small number of Xbox One X players experience crashes with Modern Warfare. We are already working on a fix. Thanks for your patience and feedback. We will keep you posted.”
The 2019 version of Call Of Duty is expected to break down many records when it comes to popularity. For smartphones, the new game has been downloaded in tremendous numbers. More than any other mobile game, actually, according to a report. Therefore, COD Mobile had the most significant launch that an Android game ever had, and no game for iOS can surpass it, also. Only a bit after a week had passed since the release, and Activision’s creation has already been downloaded over 100 million times. That tells us a lot about what we should expect from the 2019 Call Of Duty for PC and consoles.
Hopefully, Infinity Ward will find a way to solve the issue. Until then, you might as well play the new Call Of Duty on a PC since there’s no sign of crashing there.
