Season 4 of Call of Duty has already begun, and it comes with a huge download file. According to rumors, Call of Duty 2020 will not actually be revealed today. Season 4 of Modern Warfare or Warzone goes live. However, we were expecting that this year’s game would be announced after the release of Season 4, but that is not the case anymore. There is no sign of the game, and according to some sources, it will not appear at the PlayStation 5 reveal this week. However, the game will be announced next week, and it is full of Easter eggs.
Fans really want to get the game, but at the moment, they are looking into Season 4 Patch, which comes with 84GB on Xbox, even if they said that it would only be 4GB.
It is all free content, but that doesn’t mean that fans are not upset with the fact that the files’ size is just way too big for Modern Warfare and Warzone and even if Season 4 went live at 7:00 AM, it would still take many, many hours until most of the players will be able to finish downloading it.
According to Activision, only some of the players will get the inflated Xbox One updates, even if they are 45GB on PC and 32GB on PlayStation 4. Many believe that this situation is out of control.
Activision has come up with a solution that allows you to get 4GB of files. However, that means that you have to delete the previous DLC and the modes, such as the story campaign and Special OPS. Of course, you can add them back later if you need them, which means that you might actually want to check it out without being mad that it will take you hours to download it.
