Call of Duty Modern Warfare: What Is Happening Before the End of Season 3

There is a new Call of Duty Modern Warfare update that has just been released, and it’s gonna help MW and Warzone gamers to finish their Battle Pass before season 4 begins. Call of Duty season 3 will end next week, on June 2, 2020, on Xbox One PC and PS4.

This means that the Modern Warfare Double XP event, which was set to happen this weekend, will be among the last changes made. Activision has confirmed that the MW Double XP weekend will start on May 29, on Friday, around 6:00 PM: “Double XP, Weapon XP, Double Battle Pass tier progression kicks off this Friday, May 29 at 10 AM PT until June 1 at 10 AM PT. Earn double the rewards when you jump into a Multiplayer match or drop into Warzone. See if you can earn this Season’s blueprint for maxing out your rank and unlock Alex’ Indomitable’ skin at Tier 100 in the Battle Pass.”

There are new playlist changes

The update also comes with different playlist changes. They will also remove the Classic Battle Royale mode in Warzone.

Modern Warfare has also received some playlist changes for Deathmatch Domination, Shoot House 24/7, Shipment 24/7, Drop Zone, Special Operation Brimstone, Plunder Quads.

Prepare for two modes and two playlists

There will be two modes, and two playlists, Activision says. You will get nonstop action with Deathmatch Domination and Drop Zone with their unique playlists. You’ll be able to earn points for holding objectives and defeat enemies in Deathmatch Domination. And then you might want to go to Drop Zone in order to earn Scorestreaks.
