PlayStation has recently revealed that Call of Duty: WWII will be free on PlayStation 4 for those of you who are PlayStation Plus subscribers. You’ll be able to download the game from May 26, 2020. PlayStation stated that this game is one of June’s free PS Plus games, even if it is launching in May. PlayStation promised us more details about the June PS Plus lineup later this week.
PS Plus will come with two free PlayStation 4 games for every month, but given its release with Call of Duty: WWII, we’re not sure if PlayStation wants to do something different in June: “PS Plus members: Call of Duty: WWII is part of the monthly games lineup for June, and will be available for download starting May 26. We’ll share additional details of our monthly lineup later this week. Enjoy!” reads the Twitter post.
When the game was released back in 2017, it suggested the return to the Call of Duty serious World War Two era. The game follows a squad in the U.S.’ 1st Infantry Division, and it all happens during the events of Operation Overload. The game will also follow Call of Duty’s signature competitive multiplayer and the zombies modes.
DOOM and Dead Cells are also on their way
When it comes to Playstations Plus June 2020 lineup, we have heard that DOOM and Dead Cells will make an appearance – after all, they did earn scores of 85% and 87% on Metacritic. Of course, DOOM will return as a challenging modern-day shooter experience, while Dead Cells will be back as a 2D platformer with rogue elements.
