Call of Duty’s New Title Is a No-Go: Here’s What Fans Had to Say

We got a surprising leak from Okami, who is a well-known Call of Duty leaker. We learned that the next game from the series will be called Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Okami created a mockup for the game.

So fans started to spread Okami’s info, and people were excited about being able to walk through the geopolitical tension between the United States and Russia. This has become an essential theme in this game series, especially since the “No Russian” level. We are probably going to see more of the conflict between these two countries.

Why did they keep “Black Ops”?

Call of Duty fans stated to roast Activision for their naming skills, which are kind of unfortunate. One roast started from the fact that the company only put “Black Ops” into the titles because the series is very popular. Perhaps the name would have sounded better without it there, but it all comes down to popularity.

Fans are launghing

Fans also started to made jokes by offering funny titles to Activision in case the company wants to change the name of the game before the release.

One of the titles was: “Call of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War: Black Operations: Modern Infinite Warfare: Activision Warfare: Blundell Ops: Lee Ross Warfare: Vietnam Vonderhaar Pegi 12”.

The name Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is quite long, and YouTubers get frustrated, because they try to make people click on their content, but it’s challenging to search for it, and it takes a lot of space in the title of the video, as well.

Many fans already stated that they will refer to the game only as Call of Duty: Cold War or Black Ops Cold War.
