A lot of gamers are eagerly waiting for Cyberpunk 77 to be released this year since there are many hints that point to a blockbuster game. It will be an RPG developed and published by CD Project for a large set of platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.
The upcoming game will also complete the work of skilled music composers, writers, and programmers, and it’s expected not to be a game for kids. Foul language, nudity, and violence will be thriving in Cyberpunk 2077.
About Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
The game will be available on both the next-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, respectively. But will the game be launched on the same day as the two new consoles or even earlier? This is one recent online speculation, and SVP of business development at CD Projekt Red, Mr. Michal Nowakowski, comes to shed some light on the mystery:
“In terms of Microsoft’s console, as I said, we have officially confirmed both the update and the cross-gen availability, meaning that you’ll be able to play the game from the get-go on the next-gen,”
“However, when it comes to a proper, full-blown next-gen version, that’s going to come later, we haven’t announced when and I don’t have a new comment here on that,” he added.
While this may come as a disappointment for many fans, you know what they say: having patience is true quality. Both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be released in the last days of 2020, and they will be packing specifications that will significantly surpass those of PS4 and Xbox One, respectively.
With haptic controllers, 8K support, backward compatibility, and much more, the next-generation consoles from Sony and Microsoft will be taking the gaming industry at a whole new level. And trying to guess which one of the two upcoming consoles will be better is a true challenge. However, we’ll enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 on the upcoming systems.
