With the COVID-19 pandemic delaying a lot of events, let’s hope that it won’t also be the case for the upcoming role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077. The title is awaited to arrive on September 17 mainly for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Google Stadia.
CD Projekt is responsible for both the development and the publishing of Cyberpunk 2077, and the game announces itself to be a major blockbuster. There is plenty of footage proving it, and you can delight your eyes with one of the trailers below:
PlayStation 5 availability?
But surely one of the biggest questions is whether Cyberpunk 2077 will also be available for the upcoming PS5 console. Michal Nowakowski, who is SVP of business development at CD Projekt Red, comes to offer some compelling hints:
“In terms of Microsoft’s console, like I said, we have officially confirmed both the update and the cross-gen availability, meaning that you’ll be able to play the game from the get-go on the next-gen,”
“However, when it comes to a proper, full-blown next-gen version, that’s going to come later, we haven’t announced when and I don’t have a new comment here on that.”
Having a pretty modern location as the ‘playground’, Cyberpunk 2077 offers plenty of customizable aspects. The players are free to dress their character as they wish, like in pretty much any other open-world game. Only that this time, we’re expecting some futuristic clothing considering that the location of the game is set in the futuristic metropolis of Night City, which is practically Northern California. And you might have guessed where the number from the title belongs from: the in-game action is happening in the futuristic year 2077.
We’ll soon get rid of any doubts regarding different aspects of the game. Cyberpunk 2077 arrives in September, and nothing can stop it.
