Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date Delayed Due to Coronavirus – What Now?

We’ve all seen that the Cyberpunk 2077 release date has been postponed because of the Coronavirus outbreak in China. But fans understand this situation and are waiting patiently for the game.

CD Projekt Red also announced the delays for The Witcher 3 and some other games, as well. But it might actually be a good idea – the delay – because the developers of these games can improve the game in the meantime.

The new trailer launched in China is limited only to some countries

But we won’t get to see the trailer, either, because of this situation. The epidemic is slowly reaching countries, and this is why the Taipei Game Show 2020 was canceled. The game has some cinematic trailers, but fans have been waiting for the Taipei Game Show 2020 edition, which was supposed to take place on the 6th and 7th of February.

Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to be the principal thing on the list, with a new trailer and more info about the game. But they had to cancel the event because of the virus. In Taiwan, there have been about 18 cases, so they could not take any chances. Right now, we have no updates about the game. The promo video for the game, which was released in China, has region limited access, and not everyone can see it.

The gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077

The original release for the game was April 2020, but it has been delayed to September 17, 2020. The game will come with 75 street stories as side quests which are bound to level up your character. The map will be smaller, but it will have amazing details. The gameplay will be worth the wait, and we hope we’ll soon get out hands on the game.

All we have to do now is to wait for new details regarding Cyberpunk 2077. Also, we hope that coronavirus would not affect more people and even the tech- and games-related events across the world.
