How To Fix Snaptube Not Downloading

Snaptube is one of the most popular apps for downloading videos from the web on Android devices. Still, though it keeps getting more and more popular, a handful of users complained about a famous “failed downloading” error, which generally makes it tough to download videos from various websites. We are here with a few solutions to fix that.

Checking The Connection

When a download fails to complete, the first reason why that happens is an internet connection.

In many cases, it’s the principal culprit. Therefore, if a download can’t complete, ensure that you have a stable internet connection.

When the connection is stable enough, the download will usually carry on.

Reducing Downloads

If you are trying to download multiple videos simultaneously, bandwidth is heavily diminished, resulting in some downloads failing.

If that happens, you can pause some of the downloads (or all of them) and restart the failed one(s) one at a time.

Additionally, you can set Snaptube’s built-in task limit (Mask Download Tasks) to a single one. That way, you make sure that the app’s queue doesn’t get too overcrowded, and you can download content for as long as you want to.

Updating The App

If you use an outdated version of the app, you can encounter the problem. If neither of the previous fixes worked, you can update the app and see if that fixes the problem.

Alternatively, if that also fails, you can uninstall the app entirely and then reinstall it. That resets many parameters, but a fresh start is often the solution to various problems in apps.

Also, make sure that there is enough free space on your device. The lack of free space can also lead to the app being unable to download videos.
