The new Fortnite update, 12.61, has been announced for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Android, and iOS. The last update of Season 2 will be released on the 26th of May.
The team has announced the update on Twitter, and they have also confirmed that the servers will go down at 7 am BST in the UK. Fans will get the servers back online at around 9 am.
The update is bound to fix problems with the Dragacorn Glider, and with the Hit Indicators, which showed the wrong direction. This update also marks the end of season 2. People believe that the map will be full at the beginning of Season 3, which will start on the 4th of June, 2020.
These are the patch notes
When you change the number for the sports-themed Outfit, it might not apply. Also, those of you who own the Dragacorn Glider might not get the option to refund it after the animation changed. The Hit and Damage Indications appear to come from the wrong direction. This next one happens on iOS – it causes players to hitch at a high rate, which can lead to a crash.
Save the World update
The ammo is consumed when you drop and pick up a weapon. Also, if you drop or spawn a weapon, and then you pick it up, you might also lose ammo. The Party Assist for Missions is unavailable for a short time. It will not be available until the next Season.
Some of you who play on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 does not see any recorded replays in the Career tab. Also, when you select “Leave Party” when you are in the Split Screen mode, the game might crash. Speaking of the split-screen mode, players might not be able to matchmaker if one of them tries to join another friend in a Creative server.
