The release date for Fortnite Season 3 has been set for June 11, 2020, for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PC, and mobile. However, Epic Games hasn’t really talked about its new big game update. We have heard about some big map changes that have been made. The question is, would they cause any more changes before the Season 3 release?
There’s a new rumor going on about Fortnite Season 3, which suggests that water will have a more significant impact on the game. It seems that some official artwork from Fortnite Season 3 has been found by some users on the PlayStation Store. We’re seeing the Battle Bus flying over a vast ocean, and there’s also a small island in the background. We have also learned about the theory that the new Doomsday Device has something to do with the map. However, we are not sure if this map changes will happen on the next Fornite live event or during Season 3.
The Fornite Doomsday event release will happen on June 11, 2020, on Saturday – a week later than they officially announced. It will also come with an official name – The Device. Its event time will happen at 2 PM ET, which means that those of you in the UK, you’ll get your hands on it on and 7:00 PM GMT on the same day.
An official message from Epic Games reads: “Hey everyone, In an effort to get everything ready for Chapter 2 – Season 3, we’re extending Season 2 by one week. “The new launch day of Season 3 will be Thursday, June 11. Also, make sure to check out a one-time-only live event called The Device, now scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at 2 PM ET (please show up 30 minutes early to help secure your spot, space is limited!).”
