Apple doesn’t seem to be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, although the overall situation in the US is looking pretty bad. The Cupertino-based giant prepares not only the flagship phone for 2020 called iPhone 12, but also four new iPads. And who knows what else that nobody knows about.
The names of the upcoming iPads appeared on EEC database, and an iPad support document was found. iPhone in Canada spotted them and provided the info further:
- 11-inch iPad Pro Wi-Fi: A2228; CMIIT ID: 2019AJXXXX
- 11-inch iPad Pro Cellular: A2231; CMIIT ID: 2019AJXXXX
- 9-inch iPad Pro Wi-Fi: A2229; CMIIT ID: 2019AJXXXX
- 9-inch iPad Pro Cellular: A2233; CMIIT ID: 2019AJXXXX
While we don’t know any release date, you know what they say that patience is the best of all virtues.
iPhone 12 is coming fast
We can’t deny that iPhone 12 will be Apple’s highlight for 2020 if the ongoing pandemic won’t delay the release. The launch is still scheduled for September, but COVID-19 doesn’t care about the people’s needs. Furthermore, in the US there are over 20,000 new cases of infections with COVID-19 for almost every day, according to worldometers.info. It’s hard to predict how things will evolve in the near future, but iPhone 12 will still come out sooner or later.
iPhone 12 is the successor of iPhone 11, and it shall bring significant improvements. One of them is the upcoming A14 Bionic, which will be Apple’s next-generation processor for iPhones.
The screens of iPhone 12 will also be significantly bigger than those present on iPhone 11. One model of iPhone 12 will come in a 6.1-inch size, while another version will pack an impressive 6.7-inch screen.
Apple seems to do its best in order to make 2020 a great year for the company, and it’s quite remarkable considering the continuing pandemic.
