The Google Pixel Buds 2 will get updates in a different way than usual. Google will share the updates via feature drops. If you don’t know what this feature is about, it is a similar way Pixel mobile phones receive updates. This ‘new’ way will help the company to keep the clients happy. The Pixel Buds 2 will continue to receive updates this way, and the users of this quite expensive product will be satisfied.
According to Forbes, the company behind the Pixel Buds 2, confirmed that these headphones model would regularly be updated; however, this is all they said. We don’t know when Google plans to drop these updates or what the users should expect from the future updates. But, at least, the update is on its way. The upcoming updates should ensure the good performance of the Pixel Buds 2.
Another thing that is still unclear is the frequency of these updates being released. However, one thing the company’s representative did confirm is that the upcoming updates won’t be dropped at the same time as the update for the Pixel smartphones. The Pixel Buds 2 update won’t happen quarterly either. “The goal will be to continue to introduce new helpful features over time, much like we do with Pixel phones,” says a Google delegate.
However, when it comes to the features of this headphone, there is not much to be improved. One thing that is on our mind is an EQ settings option. This will offer the user more control over this Pixel device in terms of the sound. The thing about the Pixel Buds 2 is that this product is already good as it is. But of course, new updates are always welcomed. Nonetheless, this set of earbuds is already functioning very well that a new update will only enhance it a little bit more. There is always room for better, don’t get us wrong.
For anyone who owns a pair of Google Pixel Buds 2, the idea of significant software updates that improve the experience of listening to them is exciting, and it adds another reason to make them worth considering.
