However, if you somehow did not manage to get your hands on Grand Theft Auto V by now, you can get it for free. Epic Games is offering the game for free, and the Game Stores’ servers are currently crushing under the demand.
The gaming studio has been teasing a big giveaway this week, with a mention of a ‘Mystery Game’ entry and a countdown timer placed on the front page since last Thursday.

There were numerous rumors that arose after this, but it is Rockstar‘s top-seller game that was unveiled when the countdown stopped. This is probably the reason why Epic started asking for two-factor authentication for free games this month, in order to cut down on the potential for cheaters taking numerous copies of the game with fake accounts.
You have until next Thursday to grab your copy of Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition, if you do not have it and want it. Even if you own it already on consoles, you might want to get your hands on the PC version as well. It is the best way to play GTA 5 because of the steady mod support and some still outstanding graphical enhancements.
It is incredible to think a game that was initially released for the previous generation of consoles can still look amazing into the next generation. Even though the game sold more than 20 million copies in 2019 alone, the crashing server evidently shows that people are still eager to grab it.
