We got valuable hints from a screenshot about the Diamond Casino Heist, which took place in the GTA 5 Online DLC mission. The hint was related to a world map, where the South American region is highlighted – the only one out there – in order to give GTA fans details about the locations of GTA 6.
In case you don’t know, The Diamond Casino Heist mission has been released on the 12th of December, and there might be other missions with hints about the GTA 6 game. According to some sources, there’s a screenshot about the Diamond Heist missions, which shows some words written on the walls of a corridor, which suggest the release date of the game.
On the right side of the corridor, on the wall, there’s the word “Service” written as “SER” and “VICE.” Rumor has it, that’s a hint for Vice City. So the word was probably intentionally written like that so that it could show a possible location for GTA 6.
GTA Online mission might have suggested the GTA 6 release date
On the left side of the corridor, we see the words “Diamond 510”. Rumors have it, 510 is the release date of GTA 6 – the 5th of October. Apparently, a user kept seeing the numbers 5, 1, 0, 2, 0 – the 5th of October 2020.
Keep in mind that many trailers – most of them, actually – like Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5 had been released in the fourth quarter of the year. This means that the hinted date is actually accurate.
There are so many rumors out there, and we don’t really know which ones are true. But that doesn’t mean that we need to ignore them. As of now, we can only wait for an official statement coming from the company. Most likely, GTA 6 will launch after the rollout of the next-gen consoles, which will happen during the holiday season of 2020.
