It is safe to say that the wait for Marvel’s Spiderman 2 will be longer than originally intended. There is a hint that it would not make its appearance at the PS5 reveal. Officially, Sony has not announced any games for the PS5 just yet, but when they do, during their online event, they are not going to reveal all of them. It is not really that hard to guess what games are getting a sequel, especially those who had a teaser about a follow-up, such as God of War, and also Marvel Spiderman.
There is a new game coming us
It seems that the developer of the game, Insomniac, might have another game released before that. Or at least they did before journalist Jason Schreier deleted the tweet.
Of course, everyone took a screenshot of the tweet anyway. However, it’s quite surprising that he deleted it because he is known to leak info about many other games before this one. If it was a simple mistake, he would have corrected himself, but he did not, which means that we might be getting a surprise soon.
Sony owns Insomniac Games now
For those of you who do not know, Insomniac Games is now owned by Sony, and whatever they are working on will be a PlayStation exclusive, and this might mean that it’s going to be one of those games that will be featured at the reveal event. The most obvious guesses are a new IP or a new Ratchet & Clank game.
Right now, we are waiting to hear more about Spider-man 2.
