Huami has made its new fitness band called Amazfit X available on the online market. The fitness band sports a curved display that offers users comfortable wear, long-lasting battery life, and no physical buttons.
Users will have to completely rely on gestures and on a pressure-sensitive side for navigation, but that is not something new. The newest Amazfit X has numerous fitness-focused features, such as sleep monitoring, 27/7 heart rate tracking, and the capacity to measure the blood oxygen levels. Amazfit X has launched on crowdfunding.
Huami Amazfit X – Price
The new fitness band from Huami sports a price tag of $149 for the early purchasers, and the IGG Special Amazfit X costs $179. Those prices are only available via the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform, but the regular cost is $329.
Reports are saying that the Amazfit X will be available all over the world sometime in August, with two color options: New Moon Gold and Eclipse Black.
Huami Amazfit X – Specifications
The fitness band’s most noticeable aspect is its 2.07-inch curved AMOLED display that has a resolution of 206 x 640 pixels and a pixel density of 326 PPI. The screen is curved at 92 degrees and is expected to offer a more natural and comfortable fit.
Its frame is made of metal and conceals the pressure-sensitive sensor on the side for a better-looking design. This sensor is set to identify the wearer’s gestures and enable the navigation of the user interface. Amazfit X also comes with a 5ATM water resistance classification.
There’s a 200mAh Li-Po battery, which is curved as well and is said to last for up to seven days on a single charge. Other specs of the new Amazfit X fitness band include Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a PPG heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, blood oxygen saturation sensor, and ambient light sensor.
Besides the mentioned features, the Amazfit X from Huami also comes with a four-stage sleep tracking, among other nine tracking modes that include running, swimming, cycling, and so on.
Its personalized health and fitness tracking system enables users to set goals based on their regular activities. Overall, the Huami Amazfit X fitness band is a great device to own and use daily.
