Hello Apple fans, iOS 14 is quickly approaching. Wouldn’t it be cool to be able to optionality or personalize your iPhone? Yes, it would, and although it doesn’t look like it will happen soon, we can only hope.
We believe Apple smartphones are a bit behind, don’t you think? Other Android phones have an always-on display, for example. It is nice being able to check the time at a glance. The Apple Watch just got an always-on display this year, which makes us think it will be one of the iOS 14 features. Here are all the rumors we know about the upcoming software version.
iOS 14 – Release Date, Features, and Other Rumors
Well, Apple had some problems with iOS 13 because of the bugs, which makes us believe that iOS 14 will not be released until next September. It kind of became Apple’s tradition to reveal some features of new versions of iOS at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June. Developers usually get the beta version shortly after; however, as mentioned above, we think it will be postponed.
5G wireless technology. Yep, that’s one of the big expectations! Although it currently doesn’t benefit very many people due to the lack of 5G networks, why not? It hasn’t stopped smartphone makers from releasing devices equipped with 5G support.
From the business point of view, it will be cool and a lot easier to be able to insert links into emails without merely copying and pasting the entire link. We really won’t mind if they add this feature in Apple’s Mail app and third-party email apps like Gmail.
It would be nice if Apple works a bit on its non-existing spam calls filter. Maybe a setting like “Silence Unknown Callers” or similar improved features. We would also expect iOS 14 to offer more augmented-reality features, an interactive experience of a real-world environment.
