Apple finally unveiled the iPhone 12 lineup, and it marks the embracing of the 5G realm by the Cupertino-based company. The presence of the A14 Bionic chipset is also a strong highlight of the new iPhones, as well as the improved cameras, and more.
The iPhone 11 lineup was Apple’s flagship for 2019, and it’s time to compare the best phone from that lineup to the top gadget from the iPhone 12 set.
More powerful processor
The A14 Bionic processor present on iPhone 12 is significantly more powerful than the A13 Bionic model, although the latter chipset was once considered the fastest one ever present on a smartphone.
iPhone 12 Pro Max not only has a bigger display than its predecessor – but it also features better cameras. There’s a quad-camera setup on the rear of the iPhone 12 Pro Max that features a TOF 3D LiDAR depth scanner that’s not present on the iPhone 11 model. Another advantage that the main camera of iPhone 12 Pro Max has over iPhone 11 Pro Max is represented by the Dolby Vision HDR (up to 60fps) feature.
The 5G connectivity
All four models of iPhone 12, including the Pro Max variant, are packing 5G connectivity. Since no other smartphones created by Apple have the feature, this is a huge step. 5G is necessary for those willing to have much faster and more stable internet, but it will also have crucial applications when it comes to detecting traffic threats in no-time.
The Pro Max version of the iPhone 12 is not cheap at all, having a starting price of 1220 euros. As for the iPhone 11 Pro Max, it had a launch price of about 937 euros. It seems the perfect time for upgrading if you’re a hardcore Apple fan.
