Samsung‘s Galaxy Tab S7 and the S7 Plus were obvious efforts to get back a massive part of the tablet market, but it won’t be long until Apple tries to take it back.
The Cupertino-based giant is expected to reveal a few new models, perhaps across its iPad range, but details about the forthcoming tablets aren’t as many as those for the iPhone 12. As a matter of fact, some appear to be conflicting with each other for now, like this information about a cheaper iPad with expensive features.
A New 10.8-inch iPad and iPad Air 4
There’s still some arguing regarding what iPad models will be announced in the next months, at least besides an iPad Pro and an iPad Mini. Some believe that a 10.8-inch iPad will be released, while others say it actually has 11 inches. Also, there’s disagreement with regards to an iPad Air 4 or a more affordable new iPad.
iPad Air 4 rumors throughout the past week suggested a new design that looked a lot like iPad Pro’s, while still keeping non-iPad features. In particular, that means still sporting Touch ID, even though it has been relocated to the power button at the top. Apple may have probably decided to give the next iPad Air a USB-C port as well.
At this point, neither the iPad Air leak, which allegedly came from a user manual, not the 2020 iPad schematics can be considered true. Rumors about Apple’s next devices are still spare at the moment, but we expect them to surface as we get closer to their launch date.
