You may be curious about the looks of the Google Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5, but you may not have to imagine what they look like! You can look at them!
The Finding
The 9to5Google team noticed in a briefly visible Reddit photo that seemed to display both Pixel phones and their adjacent specifications.
The image suggested that the Pixel 4a 5G would pack an extra camera over the regular Pixel 4a, alongside a significantly larger screen. It looks to eclipse the Pixel 5 by a long shot.
Specifications
The specifications that were shown hint that both devices would pack improved performance over the 4a. In addition to the wide-angle camera, the phones would seemingly run on a faster Snapdragon 765G chip.
The new devices would pack beefed up batteries – 3,800 mAh for the Pixel 4a 5G and 4,000 mAh for the Pixel 5.
The Pixel 5 wouldn’t feature a headphone jack, but it would pack a crisp 90Hz display and 8GB of RAM, in contrast to the 60Hz and 6GB of the 4a 5G.
The leaked renders suggest that the Pixel 4a 5G would pack a 6.1 or 6.2-inch display and dual rear cameras.
Google has previously stated that its 5G phone would start at $499 and arrive in the fall.
It’s just a matter of whether you will have to pay a significant premium difference for the Pixel 5, and whether the top-end device would be worth the advantages.
One thing is sure – Google isn’t aiming for the flagship phone crown as it did with the Pixel 4.
Please, take the information with a grain of salt, as nothing was officially confirmed yet.
