Minecraft 1.16.20 Update Brings Piglin Brute Mobs to the Game

The latest Minecraft 1.16.20 update comes with a challenging twist on the Piglin mob – the Piglin Brutes, a powerful enemy that’s extremely hostile.

For Minecraft fans, the new update is a welcomed addition, with the Creeping Winter DLC release date for Minecraft Dungeons being revealed and an update for Minecraft with some cool new features going live. The 1.16.20 update is coming with crafting interface enhancements, bug fixes, and perhaps the most interesting addition of all: Piglin Brute mobs.

What are the Piglin Brutes?

Piglin Brutes are a hostile, outstanding enemy in Minecraft because of their ability to be deceived by gold or to be scared into running away. The Piglin Brute is basically a mob, as per the Minecraft’s official Twitter post, that handles axes and has already fixed on the player being a thief.

They live in bastion remnants and protect the place’s treasures from players who want to take them. Dissimilar to regular Minecraft Piglins, they cannot be traded with.

Piglin Brutes will definitely be a challenging mob for Minecraft players used to fight against normal, weaker Piglins, which are terribly both cowardly and greedy. Because Piglin Brutes cannot be bribed or scared away, players will have to use other methods of dealing with them, which will most probably involve fighting them head-on or simply avoiding them at all costs.

Fortunately, Piglin Brutes are easy enough to differentiate from the regular Piglins because of the bright gold arm bracers and massive belt buckles, as well as the golden axes they swing at enemies.

How to Defeat the Piglin Brutes?

The majority of players know the pain of being defeated by an enemy in Minecraft, and the Piglin Brutes are no power to make jokes with. The mob will attack players they see, irrelevant of what the player is wearing, or what actions they take.

Regular Piglins, for instance, won’t attack players wearing gold armor, but Piglin Brutes won’t flinch an eye before starting a fight. Mojang says that Piglin Brutes don’t wear any armor because they are ‘just that though,’ which means they will be able to take a lot of damage before going down.

When defeating a Piglin, players have the opportunity to get the creature’s golden axe. They also don’t respawn when eliminated and despawn in Peaceful difficulty in Java Edition. They are also able to open wooden doors, so players shouldn’t expect to have the chance to hide behind them.

If you want to go searching for treasure in bastion remnants, it would be a good idea to take a good Minecraft weapon with you, as well as equip with good armor, so you’ll be able to stand up to this hostile creature.

More Minecraft 1.16.20 Update Changes

Minecraft 1.16.20 update has also brought some other cool new features, such as a plethora of issue fixes that will hopefully make the game run smoother. Minecraft players looking for a challenge should definitely update and start up their game to head for some treasures hid in bastion remnants.

Minecraft is now available on mobile devices, PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, as well as legacy platforms.
