Minecraft players know that there are two different servers for the game; a third-party and another one that players can rent from Mojang, called Minecraft Realms. Every month, the developers add more features and user-created items into the Realms Plus servers in order to make the monthly purchase of better value.
May Additions in Minecraft Realms Plus
In May, Minecraft developers have added three different texture packs, five game modes or maps, and 40 new skins. The three texture packs are called ClearCraft, Lithos HD, and Medieval Texture.
The ClearCraft pack is rather similar to Minecraft’s original texture pack but sports 64x textures while adding numerous details to each block, item, and mobs of the game.
This particular pack brings enhanced skins for mobs, including zombies, dragons, creepers, and so on. It also allows you to redesign your character with 12 free HD skins. ClearCraft was developed by Goe-craft, and it reportedly provides players with more detailed experience of the pixelated game.
The second texture pack that was added is the Lithos HD, which was created by Eleazzaar for Syclone Studios. This particular pack offers the right amount of clarity and detail while keeping the pixelated design of the game.
This pack’s textures are a bit less detailed, with 32x rather than ClearCraft’s 64x, but lower textures enable included ones to mesh more evenly with the title. Lithos HD doesn’t alter the aesthetic of the game much; it rather enhances it.
The third texture pack added this month is the Medieval Textures pack, developed by Gamemode One. This pack gives the game a more fantasy-feel, enabling you to get one of 20 skins that include everything, from royalty to knights and heroes.
Unlike the first two texture packs, the Medieval Textures one does alter the design of the game a lot by changing mobs to fit in a fantasy world.
All these texture packs feature a few character skins and allow you to play with the new aesthetics of the setting in an exciting way.
