We have all seen the cover athletes for the NBA 2k21 edition, and we are happy that the game will be released without being affected by the pandemic. The previews are promising, and we cannot wait to try it out. But one thing that has especially caught our attention is the player ratings. This is who believes will be the best players in the league.
LeBron James
We know that his rating seems to be low, and right now, we’re all taking him for granted. But he continues to prove to us that he still got it, after all this time. He’s heading towards the league in assists per game, and he is a fantastic candidate for the MVP. At the age of 35, we don’t see him slowing down, and we believe that next year won’t be different. We’re waiting to see how he’s doing in Orlando.
Kawhi Leonard
It is safe to say that he is one of the best defenders in the world. He’s also one of the best scorers, and it seems that he’s getting only better. There was one thing that made us doubt him – his management trend – people said that he was a part-time player.
But he is back with full strength, and the rest of the league will have to choose its players carefully. At this point, the other players can only watch out.
Giannis Antetokounmpo
This one is going towards winning his second consecutive Most Valuable Player award. He is also the frontrunner to win the Defensive Player of the Year award. And with these two, his rating should go even higher than before.
He has continually proved that he is one of the best players out there, so we don’t really see why he won’t be on this list next year.
Kevin Durant
We all miss Kevin Durant. He is one of our favorite players. He has the shooting stroke of a guard, and its defender skills are to die for. However, Durant might start the new season with a lower rating because he has missed a lot. But we know that he is a superstar, and he will get back on track in no time.
James Harden
He has managed to be the same player he has always been. He’s good at his game, he can go to the line 12 times a game, and get video game stat lines any time.
He has talent, and we have all seen that throughout time. But this season, he has not really done anything to get his rating up or down. He remained the same, and he has found his way on this list without any trouble.
Stephen Curry
He is one of the best shooters of all time, and he’s been doing video games for quite a while now – ever since he has entered the league. But he only played 5 games this season, and we are not sure how that will work out on its NBA 2K21 rating.
We have also heard that Curry will be on a minutes restriction next season, which will change things a bit for his current rating.
