Fans of Overwatch are still waiting for the countdown to the 2020 Anniversary event on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
This Overwatch Anniversary event has its release date on May 19, 2020. We don’t have an official start time, but fans know that it will probably start at 6pm BST in the UK.
The launch will also come with a big update, and we know that some patch notes are on their way to us. The event was announced on Twitter: “Get ready to go hog wild. Earn new rewards and relive your favorite seasonal brawls in the Overwatch Anniversary event. The party starts on May 19.” This event is one of the best (and the most famous) in-game celebrations for fans.
Fans get the chance to win amazing rewards such as skins, sprays, emotes – and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Fans will also be able to unlock loot from any other Overwatch event. If you missed the Halloween skin from 2019, now is the time to get it. The Lunar New Year item? Now is the time to get this one, too. Also, you will be able to play different limited-time modes for as long as the event lasts. Do you know what this means? It means that you will get to play Lucioball, Junkenstein’s Revenge, Snowball Offensive, Yeti Hunt, Uprising, Retribution, and Storm Rising. It is good to keep in mind that the game modes were playable in the rotation is 2019, so we think it will be the same case now, in 2020. So make sure you get all the amazing items!
Blizzard has allowed fans to see some of the new Legendary items. Ashe, Reaper, Zenyatta, and Mercy get new skins. And we should say: the Little Red Ashe skin is the best one so far. Yes, it is based on Little Red Riding Hood.
