PS5: Will There Be Cross-Gen for GTA 6?

Some of the developers believe that there will be plenty of cross-gen support between PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. This is excellent news for the GTA 6 release date.

One of the most amazing parts is that the new and exciting games which will be available to purchase, and there won’t be a difference between the Xbox Series X and PS5. The hype is big with this one, with titles like Halo Infinite and Dying Light 2. These games are also available on the PS4 and Xbox One, which means that fans can expect cross-gen big time. There are other projects which will soon get a release date – including Rockstar Games’ GTA 6.

We don’t know much about the new title, but rumors are everywhere. In a recent update from Jason Schreier, he stated that Rockstar’s culture changed after the release of Red Dead Redemption 2.

Fans think that GTA 6 is already in early development. This is the post: “One plan that management has laid out for the next game, a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, is to start out with a moderately sized release (which, by Rockstar’s standards, would still be a large game) that is then expanded with regular updates over time, which may help mitigate stress and crunch.” It continued by saying that the production ramps up and that the game approaches its release date. But it asks a very interesting question: “Will Rockstar’s employees then face the pressure of months of crunch in order to finish all of the ambitious work it takes to make a Rockstar game?”

It really depends on what early development means. That still means that GTA 6 might be years away, which makes it even harder to make its appearance on old hardware.
