Realme scheduled an update this month for the freshly released Realme 7 Pro smartphone. The update introduces the UI version RMX2170PU_11_A.17, featuring the October security patch.
As announced by Realme on its official forum page, this month’s update features camera enhancements like optimized overexposure of the front camera, improved color shifts of the back camera, and better dynamic range of the rear camera in 64MP mode.
The changelog of the update also mentions system improvements like optimization of minimum brightness when playing videos.
Also, screen dimming after unlocking the phone via fingerprint was addressed, and the inability to fast charge at times.
The update will be released in a typical OTA manner. Here is what the official forum post from Realme says:
“The update will be randomly pushed out to a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs.”
Realme 7 Pro features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display running on 1080×2400 pixels. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core chipset aided by RAM’s six or eight gigabytes.
On the front camera, the handset features a 64MP, f/1.8 primary sensor with LED flash, 8MP 119 degrees Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.3 aperture, 2MP 4cm macro, and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front selfie camera is an astounding 32MP sensor.
The smartphone runs on Android 10. It is powered by a 4500 mAh battery that can be fast-charged with a designated 65W module.
Ensure you keep your phone connected to a reliable network to get the update as soon as it gets a complete rollout.
