There are no separate bases or battle scenes, and it offers ‘infinite zoom’ that enables players to transition easily between the world view and individual places or outposts.

You get to investigate lost temples, barbarian fortresses, caves, and villages in order to experience the historical gameplay. Players have access to unrestricted troop movements, able to issue new orders any time, which offers countless strategic opportunities. The troops can be divided between commanders, so you get to engage in more than one action at the same time.

These alliance can extend their territory in order to collect resources and strengthen their position. The RPG commanders can be used in battles; from Julius Caesar and Sun Tzu to Joan of Arc and Kusunoki Masashige, players can employ these historical figures in combat.
