Saints Row: The Third Remastered Achieves Amazing Performance on Xbox One X

In 2011, the Saints Row series received its third iteration, and it impressed a whole world with it. While other open-world games like those from the Grand Theft Auto or Mafia series are focusing more on the story mode, Saints Row is pure entertainment and it proved it once again with its third game. Named Saints Row: The Third, this game packs more action than you can imagine.

A remastered version for Saints Row : The Third is arriving for the gaming world, and it looks absolutely beautiful. The graphics are even more amazing than before, as you can see for yourself in the above video.

Saints Row: The Third Remastered Achieves 60 FPS

Windows Central says that the remastered version of Saints Row: The Third reaches an impressive milestone: 60 FPS (frames per second) on the Xbox One X console. But you still have to remove the frame rate lock within the display settings to see the effects.

However, don’t expect this amazing performance to be available anytime throughout the game. Once there’s a lot of fuss going on like crowds of people shooting themselves or explosions, the frame rate goes down to about 45 FPS.

Release date

“Saints Row®: The Third™ – Remastered gives you control of the Saints at the height of their power, and you live the life to show for it. This is your City. These are your rules. Remastered with enhanced graphics, Steelport the original city of sin, has never looked so good as it drowns in sex, drugs and guns. Take a tank skydiving, call in a satellite-targeted airstrike on a Mexican wrestling gang, and fight against a highly-trained military force by your lonesome in the most outlandish gameplay scenarios ever seen.”
