Last year, Samsung was all about releasing the 5G variant of the smartphone, but this year, they have a new plan: to bring 5G connectivity to more than just their phones. We heard more about the specs of Galaxy A71 5G from earlier this week, but now it’s Galaxy A51 5G’s time to shine.
There are leaks on the internet about Galaxy A51’s 5G variant, and now we know more about its design. The new phone has a different read design and frame material if we are to compare it to the LTE variant of the smartphone. It looks somewhat alike with the Galaxy A90 5G, with the dual-finish design. We do not see the Galaxy 51’s diagonal pattern anymore. Also, the phone seems to use a metal frame and not the polycarbonate frame used with the LTE variant.
The phone will come with a Super AMOLED Infinity-O display, with the Full HD+ resolution and an under-display fingerprint reader. It will probably use the same quad-camera setup, of 48MP wide+12MP ultrawide+5MP macro+5MP depth on the back of the device, that’s also used in the LTE variant. It is possible that the device will have a 4K video recording on both front, and rear cameras.
The 5G smartphone from Samsung will also come with Exynos 980, with the Shannon 5G modem. The phone will also be released in South Korea.
All the specs we know: a 4000mAh battery
The new Galaxy A51 5G will probably come with a 32MP selfie camera, 128GB UFS storage, Android 10, One UI 2.0, Wi-Fi 6, 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, Bluetooth 5.0, a microSD card slot and a USB Type-C port. The battery will be of 4000mAh, with support for 15W fast charging.
