The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 series is only months from its launch, and it is now clear that the South Korean technology giant is preparing the last details before the release. The flagship will come in five different versions with incredibly huge cameras on the rear side, as new renders that have just appeared depict.
The number of rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S11 is increasing, and several leakers have now uploaded their latest findings of the device. The renders claim that the handset will be available in three different sizes, yet it is unclear whether the nomenclature will remain the same. Allegedly, there will also be a Galaxy S10 Lite and a Galaxy Note 10 Lite.
Samsung Galaxy S11 – Camera
The renders, designed based on new rumors, depict a couple of design ideas that mainly focus on the camera setting on the back of the phone. The camera module on these renders looks more massive than on all the other leaks published until now, gearing a total of five lenses, and taking half of the width of the rear side of the Samsung Galaxy S11.
As per a report, the camera will have a 5x zoom, which will be incorporated into the 108-megapixel main sensor, developed in collaboration with Xiaomi.
The setting also hosts a flash and two sensor holes, with the openings probably meant for laser autofocus. Renders also show a more reserved version of the handset, with a narrower camera array, which looks more similar to previous leaks.
Ice Universe, a reliable leaker, confirmed on his Twitter page that one of the smartphones, the one on the left, has an ultrawide-angle, main camera, and periscope zoom lens. It is expected to have a flash and ToF as well.
Samsung Galaxy S11 – Size
As per numerous leaks, the three Samsung Galaxy S11 will all be rather large. The smallest model would pack a 6.4-inch display, while the other two versions will come with a 6.7-inch and a 6.9-inch display.
All versions have the screen curved on the sides, and according to some, the design will not please all the fans as the Galaxy S10e was more compact. Even so, it is definite that all screens will be AMOLED panels.
The flagships seem to come in two different versions, as the Samsung Galaxy S11 and the Galaxy S11e will both be available in 4G and 5G as well. However, the larger model will only be available with 5G.
Packing One UI 2.1
Samsung has allegedly started developing the firmware for the forthcoming Galaxy S11 series, so it is safe to suppose that Android 10 will be incorporated into the device; however, some reports claim that One UI 2.1 will make its debut on these devices.
SamMobile reports that chipset development has started for the SM-G986B, which is most likely the series number for the Samsung Galaxy S11, also packed with 5G.
Samsung Galaxy S11 – Launch Date
The device is allegedly launching sometime at the beginning of next year. The company is expected to announce its new devices in February or March, as it always does, more likely during its MWC 2020.
When it comes to the series’ price, Samsung will probably stay in the same $800/$1,000 area with the Galaxy S11 range as well, but nothing is certain.
