Samsung Galaxy S11: The Device Will Come with a 5G Chip

Everyone out there is talking about the Samsung Galaxy S11 being a 5G phone. Apparently, users will not need to buy a separate and more expensive 5G variant of the phone.

Qualcomm has announced its Snapdragon 865 chipset on the 4th of December at the Snapdragon Tech Summit, and apparently, it will be coupled with a 5G modem. Due to the fact that Galaxy S10 used the Snapdragon 855, the Galaxy S9 used the Snapdragon 845, and so on and so forth, the rule should be that the Galaxy S11 will use the Snapdragon 865.

5G and its fame

If this will become a trend, there are two things to keep in mind. First of all, the Galaxy S11 will be the first 5G phone for many people, which means that 5G will become popular. Second of all, the specs of the chip will definitely foreshadow the features of the next Samsung phone.

Here’s all we know so far about the Samsung Galaxy S11 from Snapdragon 865

Samsung Galaxy S11? Definitely a 5G phone.

The device will fix all the significant issues that we had with 5G phones this year. This means no buying of an expensive variant. As you know, 5G phones come afterward, but not in this case. This was the case of Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, Note 10 plus 5G, and OnePlus 7T Pro 5G. for the Moto Z3 and Moto Z4, you actually had to buy a 5G mod add-on. Asking people to buy 5G for their phones was a bold move.

However, Qualcomm was obvious: if they’re going to use the Snapdragon 865 chipset, it would be a great deal for everyone. It has a Snapdragon X55 5G modem, even if they’re not the same chip.
