Telegram, one of the most popular communications app in the world, is known for its security and privacy. With more than 400 million users per month, the app boasts fast speeds, sync options, reliability, and power. Now, a new update that packs lots of brand new features and additions has been released for the messaging app.
The communication platform is known as one of the fastest and most secure messaging apps on the market, connecting people via a well-distributed network of data centers across the world. It allows you to access your conversations from all your devices with its sync function, which helps you never lose data.
Why Use Telegram?
Telegram allows you to send media and files with no limits on their type and size, and it securely stores any content in the Telegram cloud for as long as you need it, enabling you to keep your local storage space unclogged. It also enables you to create group chats for up to 200,000 members and even set up bots for certain tasks.
The developers that created the app provide the best security as everything on the platform, including chats, groups, media, and so on, is encrypted using a mix of 256-bit symmetric AES encryption, 2048-bit RSA encryption, and Diffie–Hellman secure key exchange.
A great thing about Telegram is the fact that it never gives third parties access to your data. Also, for those wanting to benefit from maximum security, the app offers Secret Chats, which are messages tabs that can be programmed to self-destruct automatically from both devices that participate. This type of chat uses end-to-end encryption.
Telegram 6.2.0 Update
The latest build for the app, Telegram 6.2.0 update, brings a lot of new features and amazing functions to the app. For instance, we’ve got a new media editor that allows you to enhance video quality, add drawings, stickers, and text, as well as zoom in on media for high-precision drawing.
There’s also a new GIF panel with a newly-created emoji-based section to help find GIFs quicker and improved interfaces. The latter now allows you to send, edit, or delete messages with new animations, and also has an updated video player, storage usage settings, and two-step verification flow.
The Telegram 6.2.0 update’s full changelog can be found on Telegram’s official website.
