The Last of Us, one of the most famous PlayStation exclusives, and the Part 2 of the series might turn up as the most successful game on the platform.
The Last of Us Part 2 will be an instant bestseller as soon as it launches on PS4 next month.
Missing Content Accidentally
The developer, Naughty Dog, has published some details about the game ahead of its June 19 official release date.
Co-director Anthony Newman said that players would probably miss entire story sequences:
“In this game, we’ve gone so far in making the level design open that there are entire story moments, entire combat encounters, full scripted sequences that you may completely miss,” Newman said.
He also added some fantastic events that a great deal of the player base will never see. That choice was made apparently to make it feel like you discovered the whole situation and reward you with that fantastic feeling.
It would all be based on choices and character evolution, so there’s no clear way to say what you will encounter during your first playthrough. The hidden events will make the game significantly more replayable, as you know that the second time you play the game, the experience might be different and lead to a different conclusion.
One of the most anticipated features of the upcoming game is the “dynamic stealth” gameplay, alongside the so-called “tense melee combat” and a new, “fluid movement” system.
The Silver Lining
Thankfully, it won’t be long until we get to play The Last of Us 2 since it’s only a few weeks away from launch.
The sequel happens five years after the events of the original game, after the survivors’ settlement in Wyoming.
The story will take gamers between various levels of right and wrong throughout the change from peaceful mountains to overgrown ruins.
