Gearbox has revealed that the Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC for Borderlands 3 are on their way.
It seems that the next DLC for Borderlands 3 will make the game even weirder than before – it will take place inside the mind of a character. The DLC’s are fascinating – we got zombies and fantasy elements, but this one is on another level.
The previous DLC was titled Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption and people had mixed feelings about it. Sure, it has the key features of Borderlands 3, but in terms of the narrative, it was not really that great.
The story-telling was poor, and the gameplay was repetitive. It’s really nothing that you may want to try with this expansion. We believe it felt more like a filler. But the new DLC? A whole different story.
The developer of the game, Gearbox Software, showed the Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC trailer. You’ll get to see what’s inside Krieg’s mind – one of the characters of Borderlands 2.
The trailer is full of many weird stuff – there’s a flying train inside the meat castle of Krieg, which doesn’t make any sense, really. We’ve also seen that there are plenty of returning characters – even if they are imaginary avatars from inside Krieg’s subconscious.
We’re also getting new weapons which you’ll be able to get and new places to discover.
In this story, Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck will discover the mythical Vaulthalla. You can only find it if you dive deep into Krieg’s mind.
Could it be better than the Guns, Love, and Tentacles DLC? The new DLC will be released soon, on the 10th of September.
