The Witcher 4 will happen, and we cannot wait to get our hands on it! we know that its developer, CD Projekt RED will make a new The Witcher game. The game will probably not hit the market soon. The Witcher 3 was launched back in 2015, and Cyberpunk 2077 is coming in 2020, so we might have to wait sometime before getting another game from the studio.
Here is what we expect to see in the new game
More mysterious creatures
We have all seen that many of The Witcher’s beasts are based on creatures from European folklore. We want more of those. Perhaps some Selkies, or some somber version of a leprechaun. Maybe a hybrid? We would love to see them, and you know, before we get rid of them.
Not too much of the TV show
We know that the series was a success, and it attracted even more fans for the games, but we don’t want to see that action in the game. The games are fantastic as they are, and we don’t want to see a combination between the story of the series and the story of the games.
Continued saved data
We know that The Witcher 3 can be played on a short number of platforms. The series allowed you to import your saved data from the previous entry in the franchise. It might be a shame not to be able to bring your saved data to the next game, as well.
Being able to play it on Nintendo
Finding out that you can play The Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch was terrific, but let’s get real, the console is not as powerful as PS5 or Xbox One. We want to be able to play the game on a more powerful console. Cyberpunk 2077 will probably not follow this wish anytime soon, so we don’t really think that The Witcher would, either. But we are hoping that CD Projekt RED will port it to a more powerful console.
