UC Browser: What Are Its Common Issues and How to Solve Them

The download error

Sometimes the downloads suddenly stop – some users can continue the download, others have to start over.

Try to disable battery optimization. For this, go to Settings, to Apps & notifications. Then go to Advanced, to Special app access. Open Battery optimization and select All apps. Find the UC Browser and choose Don’t optimize.

Try to clear the app’s cache and data. For this, Then go to Advanced, to Special app access. Open Battery optimization and select Storage. Then Clear Cache and Data, then don’t forget to restart your device.

Try to remove all the downloads

Try to check the Cloud Acceleration. For this, open the UC Browser, then tap on the bottom navigation bar and open Settings. Then choose Browsing Settings, then Disable Cloud Boost. Then you need to reinstall the app.

Try to check the Network settings – delete network and add it again, reboot your router and your phone, see if you’re using Mobile Data instead.

Try to Enable Data usage in the background. For this, you need to open Settings, then choose Apps & notifications, then open All apps. Find the UC Browser, and select Data usage. Tap On Background data and Unrestricted data usage.

Then you need to find the Default Path and choose a different path. Then you need to confirm the changes and restart the browser. Now, try to download the files again.
