If you have a Roblox account, but you no longer want to use it due to certain reasons, you may have thought of deleting it. Unfortunately, the platform doesn’t offer this option; still, there are a few approaches you can consider.
Here are the options you have, given that you cannot permanently delete your Roblox account.
Delete Your Roblox Account
Roblox developers clearly stated that users are not able to delete their account from the platform: “We do not have a feature for players to delete their accounts. If you no longer wish to play on your account, you can just stop. It will remain with us until you’re ready to play again. This way, you won’t lose anything you’ve built or created on your account if you choose to return to Roblox.”
However, here are a few approaches you can take.
Call Roblox Service Care
Call Roblox at 888-858-BLOX to tell them you want your account deleted as you no longer plan to use it. Evidently, they will say that you cannot delete it, but this option provides you with the possibility to invoke some reasons of why they need to delete your account. Sometimes, this approach works, so give it a try.
Email the Developers
Roblox has a second contact option for users and can be more convenient for most people. Sending an email to [email protected] with your request, as well as some complaints, can get your account deleted.
Stop Using Your Roblox Account
Whether you call or email someone working for Roblox, they will tell you to stop using your account because the option to delete it is not accessible. This might mean that the games you created will remain on the platform, but after a long period of inactivity, the account may be deleted.
Simply avoid logging into your account for a long period, such as one year or even longer. Your account is deleted if you try to log in after this period and cannot carry out the action.
Use Their Policies
A few users who wanted their account deleted at all costs have used the Roblox policy and terms in order to get what they wanted. We don’t recommend this option as it is too drastic, but it has been demonstrated to work, and sometimes almost instantly.
However, what does this method imply?
Everyone knows about the policies that every company has – those terms have to be accepted by everyone who registers on the platform. So, if you break one of their policies, you can get warned or penalized. Continuous violations can have you permanently banned from the platform, or, in our case, your account can be deleted.
Remember, we do not recommend this option, but some have claimed they used it and it worked.
