Watchmen is a TV series on HBO who got famous and good feedback from the public and critics. Some of the episodes from Season 1 are based on the comic book Watchmen. Damon Lindelof, who worked on Lost and The leftover, has created this fusion with the comic on purpose. So Season 2 will come next, and the talks about episodes, cast, or the release date is on.
Watchmen Season 2
HBO hasn’t announced something official about the release date of the second season. On the other hand, Nicole Kassell, who is the executive producer of the TV series, said that the plan of a sequel is on their table from the start. So, the hints Kassell have given to us is that the story will continue through many seasons from now on. Judging by the HBO’s budget for its shows, we think that we will see Season 2 of Watchmen somewhere in late 2020 or the beginning of 2021.
Moreover, regarding the cast of the new season, we think that some of the actors will return. For example, we will have Regina King, Tim Blake Nelson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Hong Chau, Jeremy Irons, and Jean Smart. But looking at the way season 1 has played, we are sure that some of the characters will disappear, and a new audition will be done, especially for the next season.
Also, the idea of the first season is that it has a beginning, middle, and an end. Moreover, the finale of season one left us in a cliffhanger, so we don’t know if season two will continue the story or start with another one.
To sum up, we don’t have a trailer now for season two, only two trailers for season one. Also, don’t forget that the comics present many events, so the makers of the TV series can play with their show as they want to.
