When you download WhatsApp, you are asked to agree to its terms and conditions. Then, the next step is to verify your number. Some WhatsApp users encountered some issues with the WhatsApp verification time.
Here’s how to fix it
Check your number
When you verify your number, it is important to input your correct number in the right place. WhatsApp has added a lot of features and advances in time. The WhatsApp feature has added the country code in order to make it easy to use. So all you need to do is to add your number and remove the first zero. If done correctly, it should not cause problems.
Make sure you have a stable internet connection
You need to be connected to the internet. If you don’t get the code fast, make sure you check your network. You won’t get the code with a slow connection. In order to fix this, swipe the screen downwards and tap on Wi-Fi. Wait a bit, then tap on it again and choose your connection. If it does not work, turn on your data. If that did not work, either, then tap to airplane mode, then tap again to switch it off.
Reset the time and date
For you not to have problems, it’s better if the phone is placed on automatic time configuration. In order to do so, go to Settings, to Time & Date, to Set automatically.
Reset the cache
You need to make sure that you’ll always clear all temporary and unwanted files from your phone. They can not only slow down your phone, but also the WhatsApp verification process. In order to do so, go to Settings, to Applications, to WhatsApp, to Clear data.
Delete the app and reinstall it again
If all of the fixes from above did not work, maybe you should delete the app, then reinstall it again. Go to Google Play Store, then search for WhatsApp. Then, download and install it.
