We all know how popular GTA 6 is, and we cannot wait to get our hands on the game. But we don’t exactly know when we will get it. There are many rumors on the internet about it, and it has been said that it will have amazing features. But we still need an official statement, because we already know all the rumors out there and it basically looks like a dream come true.
But we come with news. Jason Schreier, former Kotaku news editor, has talked about the game recently. He spoke about Rockstar’s culture as changing, especially after the release of Red Dead 2. He also stated that the next GTA title will be a blockbuster.
Rumor has it, GTA 6 is in the early stages of development. Schreier is known for being accurate, and people started to talk about whether the game will be here sooner than expected. People began to say that the game is already halfway done, or even more than half is ready to meet the light of the day. Schreier then responded to these claims, saying that: “Not what fans want to hear, but that game is years away.”
Take-Two has released the fiscal report, which also allowed us to take a look at the next financial year. They talked about any significant releases in the fiscal year, between 2020 and 2021. They stated that the fiscal year will be “light,” but that there will be some titles launched in the 2022 fiscal year. They did not mention the GTA series, but fans hope it will be released before April 2021. This might mean that GTA 6 will not be a cross-gen title.
Usually, the GTA games launch between the end of Q3 and the beginning of Q4. If the game is released next year, it will certainly not be a cross-gen title.
