World of Warcraft: How to Fix the Sound Issues

We all know that the soundtrack for World of Warcraft is amazing, and it’s perfect for this game. There are sound effects that accompany the players and their actions, which intensify the game. However, there are some situations in which players have some problems with the sound, thing that does not allow them to enjoy the game fully.

We have written this article to tell you how to fix the sound issues encountered during the gameplay. This solution should work for many sounds of the game, including popping, screeching, skipping, or, of course, no sound at all.

First, you need to make sure that your speakers or headphones are turned on or connected properly to your computer. Make sure you also test the cable with another one to make sure that it’s all working all right. If you’re using your speakers, disconnect the headphones.

Make sure you check the in-game audio settings from the options menu. The Enable Music and Enable Sound options to need to be checked, and also the Master Volume has to be set correctly.

You also need to make sure that the  Speaker Setup, Output Device, Sound Channel and Sound Quality are also all set in the correct way.

Make sure you update your drivers to solve any kind of compatibility issue. We are talking about the USB headphones and the HDMI output devices.

You might need to close all the background apps in order to fix the software conflicts. Also, disable the compatibility mode.

The default communication device needs to be set up correctly. For this, you need to right-click the speaker icon from the Windows system and click Playback Devices. Then, select the device that you prefer and click Set Default Communications Device.
