We also get to see Leonard’s mother giving him a surprise visit, which seems to be a bother for her son and for Penny, but an excellent visit for Sheldon. We also see Will Wheaton appearing as being Sheldon’s enemy. Leonard says “I love you” to Penny, but he doesn’t get the response that he wanted to from her, so they broke up. In order not to upset his friend, Sheldon keeps a secret the fact that he had a friendly dinner with Penny after they broke up. Penny gets to a definite conclusion that she cannot date normal guys after dating Leonard, so she ends up sleeping with him again.
