The 2021 Apple’s iPad Pro could actually come with 5G, and it’s all thanks to Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G modem. If Apple uses that modem, then the new iPad Pros could get a faster mmWave 5G and sub-6GHz 5G.
The new iPad Pros can come with a Mini-LED display. This is the first time we’re hearing about this. Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple analyst, stated last year that a 12.9–inch iPad Pro with a Mini–LED display can be launched in Q3 2020. He also said that Apple is interested in these Mini–LED displays due to the fact that they come with similar benefits as the OLED displays, like the wide color gamut.
The new device might also come with A14X chip. It could be launched in the Q1 or Q2 of 2021.
The source we’re getting all of this is L0vetodream, which is an anonymous Twitter account, so we’re not sure who is behind it. However, the account has shared a lot of rumors that turned out to be accurate, including the fact that the new iPhone SE will come with two different colors and storage configurations. But given the fact iPhones will come with 5G this year, it’s believable that iPad Pros will also come with 5G.
Apple has released the new iPad Pro back in March. Its best feature was a LIDAR sensor, which can detect depth. That, combined with the data from cameras, can actually help in creating better-augmented reality apps and experiences. The iPad Pro also came with a new A12Z Bionic chip, and the team has improved microphones.
